About Slim Tunings

Slim Tunings is a full-service piano technician business founded by Simeon Church. A second-generation tuner, Simeon began working on piano actions alongside his father as a child. After earning degrees in Piano and Composition from Temple University (BM) and Belmont University (MM), he founded Slim Tunings in 2021. Today, Slim Tunings proudly serves clients in Nashville, TN, and Brooklyn, NY.

The core philosophy at Slim Tunings is simple: each piano is a musical being, capable of the impossible—helping its owner communicate. Our goal with every service is to meet the piano (and you!) where you are and provide the best possible care for the situation. No cookie-cutter methods, no pressure toward a particular approach.
